The Story

Twenty years on the other side of the table.

Since 2002, we have invested in private markets on behalf of sophisticated global institutional investors — including some of the world’s largest public pensions, sovereign wealth funds, government institutions and endowments, as well as high-net-worth individuals.

Few firms in Asia-Pacific dedicated to family capital can point to a comparable pedigree. We did not merely work at the world’s largest managers and investors — we held senior regional roles, built businesses from the ground up, and left a record of investments and relationships that is credible because it is verifiable.

Today we bring that same institutional standard — the know-how, the integrity, the networks — to family capital in Asia-Pacific.

The Difference

What can be claimed is not the same as what has been earned.

You can copy the language, but you cannot pretend there is a track record where there is none.

Many firms describe themselves in much the same words. Look beneath the surface and there is little to find — no capital committed, no manager underwritten through a full cycle, no seat held when a decision had to be defended.

“We know the managers.”

We have underwritten them — committing institutional capital to 65+ GPs globally since 2002, with re-up decisions made and defended across vintages.

“We see the transactions.”

We have priced them — $5.9bn+ deployed across funds, secondaries and co-investments, through every cycle from the early mobile internet to today.

“We advise families on alternatives.”

We have sat at the table — advisory-committee seats, portfolio monitoring, restructurings and exits on behalf of public pensions, sovereign wealth funds, insurers and family principals.
